SF Fashion Events: Snakeskin Kaleidoscope, Fashion Social + More

It’s a quieter week than most in San Francisco style land, what with Burning Man drawing droves to the desert and the long weekend ahead beckoning others on late summer jaunts. If you’re City-bound, take heart. You can learn how to manufacture locally with SFMade on Tuesday, mingle with other Bay Area fashion industry folks during Thursday’s Fashion Social at The Factory or party amid art, fashion and music at the latest installment of RAW SF. Friday wouldn’t be complete without a stop by the Snakeskin Kaleidoscope at Fiat Lux, where Oakland jewelry designer Katie of Hart Variations will be unveiling all-new and one-of-a-kind wearable art made using a found snakeskin with rare rainbow hues.

SF Fashion Events: Dior – A Life in Pictures, Venus Superstar Trunk Show, Beauty Expo + More

This usually quiet down around these parts when a holiday weekend is on the make, and this week is no exception. But you can still find plenty of worthy adventures in style in the coming days. Drawing us out this week are the Dior: A Life in Pictures collaboration between Code Salon and The Factory, a Venus Superstar Trunk Show at Castro boit Fiat Lux and the weekend’s annual Beauty Expo from the SFFAMA. Also catching our attention this week are Wednesday’s Steven Alan Dossier Launch Party at the retailer’s new location and a Skimlinks Workshop hosted by SF Fashion + Tech for fashion publishers that delves into the latest in affiliate marketing.
