By the Bay

Never did I think I would go for a lacy pair of bloomers. But never say never, I guess. The LF sale all but defeated me. I was justthisclose to buying a poofy, borderline tutu-looking tulle skirt before I pulled myself back to reality – but not before I got this frilly number and some ridiculously soft oversized tops. I think they must pump estrogen all around that store because the second I got in there I was grabbing up lacey floral pieces by the armful.

Sightseeing with Marc Jacobs

One of my close friends Paulina came to visit from San Diego last weekend. Paulina happens to be a photographer and she was kind enough to shoot some pictures of me during her stay. I showed her around the city and we shot where ever we pleased. There was lots of dressing up, changing outfits and overall I think we both had a blast. You’ll see some random pics in this post but I find them all to be worth showing. As you can see we were pretty much relocating all day long. As far as my outfit here, I’ve meant to show you this dress for a while now. It’s a summer dress by Marc by Marc Jacobs that I bought at Jeremy’s. They usually run lots of designer sales and if you get on their email list and stop by on their sales days I bet you’ll score some goodies. This whole outfit is pretty much all Marc by Marc Jacobs, I know sounds kind of lame but I can’t help it. I like him so…. Enjoy! Paulina, thanks again for awesome shoot! People, stay tuned for more posts and pics taken by my friend.

Our first stop: Baker’s Beach. So sunny and beautiful.

This outfit is definitely a little French like but not really on purpose. I just threw it together without thinking this could be a French inspiration. I think that my beret makes it look French and only if you believe in stereotypes. I am wearing here Anthropologie baggy pants that are the most comfortable thing in the world and they actually look really sexy with heels. I have been over skinny pants recently and I’ve been wearing lots of pleated loose trousers. The look is overall pretty casual and I’d probably wear this outfit to work. One of my favorite colors is purple and I just adore these flats I got on ModCloth. There is just one problem with them. They are a little small on me. I have to stop buying shoes online because my shoe size ranges anywhere from 7 to 8 depending on the brand and I end up doing a lot shoe exchanging which can be a hassle. I have to mention my little sparkly purse. I bought it long time ago and we are inseparable. It matches almost everything and it fits the most important things like cell phone, lip gloss and driver’s license. Thanks again Paulina for taking these pictures of me.

Here is a collage of similar items I am wearing in pictures. I created it on Polyvore.
