I’ll admit it. I didn’t even watch the finale of last season’s Project Runway until three weeks after the fact on DVR. So when Erica Tanamachi, the creative director behind San Francisco label Christopher Collins, got in touch today to say that Christopher is one of season 8’s contestants, I was not only thrilled to hear that a local was once again going to be on the show, but also thankful that there’s now more than one reason to watch (the other obviously being Tim Gunn).
