Australian company Red Bubble recently tapped the Bay Area for its U.S. hub, opening Palo Alto offices this fall. Along with the move, the online source for custom shirts, posters, stickers and canvases by independent and emerging artists and designers released a serious assortment of custom iPhone cases – about 12,000 in all. Each cover ($34.95+) features original work by an independent artist from the site’s massive community (150,000+), which is free to join and growing all the time. Cases snap on and off easily, and there are designs featuring everything from Audrey Hepburn to graphic prints and retro logos.
