The Do List: San Francisco Fashion Events March 21-27

We’re thrilled to be co-hosting this week’s All Vintage Everything event on Tuesday night, and there are a great many other noteworthy events on the SF Indie Fashion Calendar in the days ahead. Read on for our weekly dose of trunk sales, beauty happenings, fashion shows and places to shop from independent sources in San Francisco:

  • Come out and hang with the SF Indie Fashion crew, the fine ladies of DNA (designers+artists) and a handpicked roster of local vintage dealers during All Vintage Everything on Tuesday night in the Mission. Besides great shopping and cocktails, other reasons to come include mini-makeovers by makeup artist Nikol Elaine, hair feather extensions by The Mission Statement and photographers Aura O’Brien and Christophe Tomatis snapping the action.
  • The next night, head to Fresh and Local, a trunk show event benefiting non-profit organization Dress for Success. Get there early for hosted Champagne during the first hour and stay to peruse the latest collection of garment and shoe bags from JenDarling, shirts and bowties by Cary LaScala, t-shirts by Farm Fresh Co. and jewelry from Eco Citizen.
  • Start the weekend with a stop by the Laline Girls Rock Fundraiser, an evening of music and beauty supporting Oakland non-profit Bay Area Girls Rock Camp. It’s the first in-store event at the first U.S. location of Laline, a beauty company best known for body scrubs made with Dead Sea salts and scented whipped body soaps. Young girls band the Bayonettes will perform. If you’re a fashion or beauty blogger interested in attending the media preview hour, contact Provocateur Media for more information.
  • Finish off the week’s fashion action with cocktails and mingling at The Factory Capsule Preview on Saturday. During the event, the recently-opened SoMa apparel production house and fashion label presents its locally-designed April collection of women’s basics, as well as contemporary and custom pieces.

You can find details on all of these events and more happening this week on the SF Indie Fashion Calendar.
