Some days we’re all for a boyish, utilitarian look. Others, it’s a pretty dress we crave. Best to have both on hand – you never know what mood will strike. You’ll find both ends of the spectrum on display tomorrow during an all-day designer trunk show and evening party at Secession Art + Design.
Featuring current collections from Portland-based Bridge & Burn and Kelly Lane of Pittsburgh, the show means a chance to get to know two labels known for their independent style, meticulous construction and versatile wardrobe additions. Look to Bridge & Burn for tailored, yet casual men’s and women’s jackets (we hear the focus is on the men’s gear for this event) and Kelly Lane for an eyeful of color and a figure-flattering fit.
See it for yourself tomorrow at Secession (3361 Mission St., SF). Trunk show, 12-6 p.m.; gallery opening reception, 6:30-9:30 p.m.
