While a little fashion-centric event kicks off on the East Coast this week, you’ll find noteworthy style diversions happening right here in the Bay. With numerous Fashion’s Night Out events, a local label’s fall collection launch at an adored fashion haunt and a sample sale featuring local designers, there’s much to do and then some. You’ll find the details on the SF Indie Fashion Calendar.
- It’s a short week, so it should come as no surprise that things don’t really heat up on the stylescape until Thursday, at which point you’ll have some tough decisions to make. A seemingly endless array of San Francisco Fashion’s Night Out events are overtaking the City. We’d love to see you at the Two Birds + Ali Golden party we’re co-hosting. You’ll find a slew of other good bets on this list and this list and also on this list.
- Friday brings two events we dare say we’re drooling over. First up, there’s the Retrofit Republic Anniversary + Lookbook Launch Party at The Summit. Along with serious style from this local retailer of recycled wears, the event highlights 10 community heroes who’ve given back. We’ll have much more to say about this event later in the week.
- Also on Friday, the folks at Modern Appealing Clothing (MAC) host the McIntoshFry Fall Collection Launch at their Dogpatch location. The collaborative line combines the work of evening wear designer Julia Fry and painter Lauren McIntosh in an assortment of tops, dresses, coats and shawls featuring eco-friendly textiles and arresting prints.
- Close out the weekend by skipping over the Golden Gate Bridge and hunting down pieces from local, independent designers at The Marin Store Sample Sale, featuring names such as Amy Fink, juleseslin, Dear Mina, April Reno, Vanessa Gade, Sarah Swell and many others.
You can find details on all of these events and more happening this week on the SF Indie Fashion Calendar.
