The SF Indie Fashion Calendar is always full of events to keep San Francisco fashion lovers busy with trunk sales, beauty happenings, fashion shows and places to shop from independent sources. Here’s our pick of top San Francisco fashion events this week:
- We’re big fans of the little ones over here at SF Indie Fashion, so you can imagine our excitement over the news that Tea Collection will be holding a two-day sample sale this week at Hayes Valley children’s boutique Fiddlesticks. Stop by the shop on Wednesday or Thursday this week for one-of-a-kind samples and deep discounts on previous seasons’ apparel for girls and boys ages newborn to 12. Sample sale times and details are available on the calendar.
- Come Thursday, you’ll find Oregon-based designer DeWayne Lumpkin’s newly-launched clothing line SheSpoke alongside his home furnishings on offer at Potrero Hill’s twin boutiques Collage Gallery and Clothing. The collections employ the iconic fonts, names and route numbers printed on vintage fabric rolls once used by British buses. The show marks the apparel line’s debut on the West Coast, where it is exclusively available at Collage. The weeknight event offers a chance to meet Lumpkin over Champagne, but don’t despair. Should you not be able to make this one, clothing (in sizes 2 through 16) and items for the home will be on offer in the sister shops through Feb. 15.
- Also on Thursday night, Fashion Mash-Up: Blogging About Green and Eco Products is sure to draw an eager crowd to Pigment Cosmetics, where the evening’s panel features speakers such as Global Action Through Fashion’s Domenica Peterson and The Green Stylist’s Jules Lauren Vasic chatting about green products and their place in the social media landscape.
You can find details on all of these events and more happening this week on the SF Indie Fashion Calendar.
