Bay Area label Camilla Olson will debut its spring 2013 collection later this week during New York’s Coterie, but a sneak peek comes in the form of this shot featuring Just 45 Minutes from Broadway actress Tanna Frederick, who will be the face of the fashion company’s upcoming online and print campaigns. For the uninitiated, Frederick stars in the forthcoming film by Henry Jaglom, debuting on the West Coast next month.

More San Francisco fashion…
San Francisco’s music event of the summer is here: Outside Lands is bringing awesome bands, performers and local food vendors to Golden Gate Park this weekend. Why not show off the best the city has to offer with a killer outfit built from locally-designed pieces?
Ladies, try staying warm in a cozy Micaela Greg sweater. Let your jewelry be fun and functional with a map necklace to keep you from getting lost and a watch to make sure you see your favorite sets on time. Gentlemen, take in the tunes in mocs from Taylor Stitch and keep the fog at bay with a jacket from local denim maker Tellason.
Check our list below to find the goods pictured above. Need something else for San Francisco’s (colder and foggier) version of Coachella? Head to BeGood Clothing, who’ll be hosting an Outside Lands sale on all the new shop’s festival-worthy gear.

More San Francisco fashion…
For spring, Palo Alto’s Camilla Olson continues her polished, ladylike approach to contemporary women’s apparel with a collection of sophisticated pieces like a tucked crepe jacket and a sleeveless sheathe dress alongside ageless items such as a semi-sheer tee and a woven vest that could be prim or delightfully edgy, depending on the wearer and styling.
Olson will debut her latest on Saturday during a sold-out event at Four Seasons Palo Alto along with accessories by Gleim the Jeweler. You can shop the collection online or scope the line and Olson’s diaphanous silk scarves in person at local shops such as Carrots, Atelier, Circle & Square, Blu in Palo Alto and Mill Valley’s Carolina.
Leap year babies celebrate, and then it’s on to March and more than a few style happenings on the horizon. The week revs up tonight with Poshmark’s first San Francisco Live Posh Party, where you can don a party dress and hope to sell it before the evening’s through. Thursday packs a slew of events into one night. Head to Cow Hollow for the Sasha Maks Vintage E-Boutique Launch Party, to the FiDi for a Refinery29 shindig at Bastille and to SoMa for the darkly edgy Supreme Beings Fashion Show featuring new work by San Francisco designers IIMUAHII and Ilanio. Next, try stripping down to your skivvies for free clothing on Friday at Union Square’s Desigual before stepping back into your sophisticated self for a Saturday Camilla Olson presentation on the Peninsula.
See you out and about!
