SoCal Style: Bilby & Moss

What do you get when you cross laid-back style inspired by the Southern California desert with refined French fashion sensibilities? The super-soft garments of Bilby & Moss, an independent label that hails from Los Angeles.

Designed, printed and manufactured in the City of Angels, the recently-launched line of tops, tunics, hoodies and pants for men and women from French transplant Marc Flimon pairs streamlined silhouettes and a minimalist spirit with lightweight fabrics such as cotton-spandex and micromodal. The resulting pieces are as perfect for layering under fall’s cozy knits or alone with jeans for a polished twist on ultra-casual weekend wear.

Add affordable prices (nothing is over $60) and that the fact that Bilby & Moss uses only water-based, formaldehyde-free inks and dyes that are eco-friendly and biodegradable, and you’ve got style that not only looks good, but feels good – and not just on the surface.

Two of our favorites from this up-and-coming independent, L.A. label: the thigh-grazing Cassia Micro Modal Tunic and the cap-sleeve Gilia Raw Hedge Tee, both of which are fast becoming usual suspects in our everyday ensembles.
