Reported missing by her husband, Michaele Salahi dons a shirt from Johnny Bueno Salon in this recent photo.
The celebrity news sites are all abuzz today after word of Real Housewife Michaele Salahi’s kidnapping hit Twitter, and though we’re usually loathe to feed the beast when it comes to tabloid-y stories, we had to mention this bizarre-but-true San Francisco connection involving one of our favorite local salons.
Since connecting with Salahi over Facebook months ago, Johnny Bueno, who owns a color studio and salon of the same name in the Union Square “beauty building,” has kept in touch with the reality television star and corresponded via phone, emails and online chats. Earlier this year, Salahi offered to send Bueno a picture of herself in one of his salon’s t-shirts. Months passed, but earlier this week Salahi offered to send him the shot, saying she was headed to a photo shoot and would be able to email it.
Shown here, the image pictures Salahi’s smiling face flanked by her signature blond hair. Bueno says he was just corresponding with Salahi two days ago.
“Here is one for fun for now to post! I LOVE YOU GUY’S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JOHNNY! BUENO! # 1 xoxoxoxoxo, ” she wrote to him in an email.
For now, there’s no word on Salahi’s whereabouts and many are speculating that the kidnapping could be a publicity stunt.
The only thing we can say for certain? She looks good in the t-shirt.
