We recently received a Josie Maran Magic Marker Lip Stain with Argan Color Stick in a local fashion event goodie bag and were excited to try out the newly-released product from the Northern California-born model’s cosmetics line.
Fans of companies with Bay Area roots that we are, we’re happy to report that we can easily recommend this dual product, which stains lips with a bright, berry hue on one side and moisturizes with an Argan oil-infused gloss stick on the other. The color stain goes on smoothly, not to mention precisely, thanks to an applicator that looks and feels pretty much exactly like a magic marker. The gloss stick adds a subtle sheen and layer of color to the finish and keeps the overall result from being too matte and intense, though you could certainly skip the gloss for a more dramatic look.
