Here’s an excuse to causally inquire (okay, demand) the circumference of any bicept-ually well-endowed men you’ve been eying: San Francisco menswear label Alley Collection is on the hunt for a real man to be the face of its forthcoming Spring/Summer 2012 line.
Launched two years ago by professional Bay Area firefighter John Robblee and his wife Laura, the company (named for their Rottweiler, Alley) aims to bring athletic men style-conscious apparel durable enough for active lifestyles. Jackets and shirts standout for offering wearable, yet tailored cuts alongside functional details such as two-way zippers and strategically placed pockets.
Following in the footsteps of the current Spring/Summer 2011 “real man” model and construction business owner Roberto Lopez, the winner of this year’s Alley Collection real man model search will be the face for next year’s line and receive a sizable gift certificate from the company. Know someone who fits the bill? Send an image of your nominee along with a brief description that includes his name, measurements, occupation, community activities or organizations he’s involved with and the reason you think he should be chosen to represent Alley Collection to John and Laura at the email Laura (at) patnaude (dot) com before June 15, 2011.
