Proving that wearing a bracelet for a cause doesn’t have to involve day-glow rubber is the African bracelet from Redwood City-based non-profit Until There’s a Cure.
The bracelets ($50 each) are carved by hand in Namibia using strips of recycled PVC piping. The graphic pattern in each one-of-a-kind piece contains a representation of an AIDS ribbon. Proceeds benefit programs providing education, food and supplies for children of Namibian villages affected by the AIDS/HIV epidemic.
More fashion for a good cause…
