Last week’s Beauty of Life Fashion Show, a benefit for Oakland’s Children’s Hospital and Research Center, brought a crowd to Jillian’s to raise awareness for sickle cell disease. The evening began with a number by Diego Trinidad and a ballet performance by Sara Elizabeth Love.
Produced by Juanita M. Scott, the show featured many local designers, including Nancy Delos Reyes, Anya Zuyeva, Anthony Aleman, Marianne Faulkner, Dao Thabthimkoson, R. Shay Miles. Jewelry from Miz B by Leila Radan and Gallery of Jewels completed the looks.
During the event, Jillian’s was packed as the models walked the runway. There were goodies for every guest, including gift bags with Bare Minerals makeup and a raffle at the end of the evening. Here are some highlights from the show:
