The Do List: San Francisco Fashion Events This Week

The SF Indie Fashion Calendar is always full of events to keep San Francisco fashion lovers busy with trunk sales, beauty happenings, fashion shows and places to shop from independent sources.  This week is no exception. Here’s our pick of top events this week:

  • Start your style forays off this week by immersing yourself in the business of fashion and technology during RetailCamp San Francisco, a day-long conference exploring the intersection of fashion, social media and retail commerce. Aimed at business owners, the event is also open to bloggers, students and anyone interested in fashion and technology.
  • On Thursday night, head to SoMa and Fashion for a Cause, a benefit for the MS Society featuring local labels such as Kitty Andrews, Work SF, Invisible Hero and Rock Chiq, as well as a special guest designer from Sex & the City.
  • On Saturday, get your fashion fix starting early with a trip to the Mission for the Look Around Fashion Crawl & Trunk Show, which is part of the larger art exhibition Celebrate! San Francisco at the Mission Cultural Center. The fashion crawl starts at 1 p.m. and features outdoor fashion presentations and performances. A trunk show and reception follows and offers a chance to meet and shop from local, independent designers and businesses.
  • Later that day, explore fashion’s ethical frontiers during the Vegan Fashion Show, part of the Vegetarian World Fair taking place in San Francisco over the weekend. The first fashion show of its kind to hit the City, the afternoon event features a bevy of designers who create apparel without the use of fur, leather or animal byproducts. One of our faves? Cri de Coeur, maker of ethical, stylish footwear.

You can find details on all of these events and more happening this week on the SF Indie Fashion Calendar.
