Feeling Campy? End Summer with One-Day Summer Beauty Camp

Here’s a way to wind down summer, beautify for fall and sharpen your makeup skills all at once: Summer Beauty Camp from Makeup Gourmet. The one-day event taking place on Monday fits pro makeup instruction into an eight-hour crash course that covers three separate looks.

Taught by Chris Scott of San Francisco’s Makeup Gourmet, the class promises to teach aspiring makeup artists and beauty hounds who just want to improve their own application know-how step-by-step instruction for creating a natural face, a finished face with balanced features and a glamorous look for high-drama occasions.

The cost? $150 per class, which works out to be a pretty decent deal when you consider that private lessons with Scott are in the neighborhood of $50 per hour. And since classes are limited to just six students, you know you’ll be getting individual attention from Scott, who’s been in the business for over 20 years.

Another option? Today on SocialWeekend, Makeup Gourmet is offering a one-hour video tutorial makeover session with a take-home DVD of your experience for $125 (reg. $275).
