For a touch of menswear-inspired pinstripes without donning the whole stuffy suit, the newly-launched Savile Row collection from San Francisco-based accessories company Tokyobay awaits.
The four-piece collection from the company, based in SoMa and founded in 1991 by Dory Isaacs and Jun Kobayashi, draws its inspiration from London’s famous destination for bespoke tailoring. Made with black and gray pinstripe suiting material and lined in satin, the collection’s three bags range from a go-anywhere tote to a crossbody satchel to our favorite of the bunch: the belted metro sacchetto style, sized perfectly for toting your essentials around the city. Distressed faux leather and removable chains add a dose of ironic edge to the pinstripes. The final piece in the collection is a women’s watch with a cream face and a suiting material band.
Also notable are the line’s affordable prices: $33-$56.
If you’re not a pinstripe kind of lady, the versatile sacchetto style also comes in a variety of other materials, including the faux leather below.
