The Do List: San Francisco Fashion Events This Week

The SF Indie Fashion Calendar is always full of events to keep San Francisco fashion lovers busy with trunk sales, beauty events, fashion shows and places to shop from independent sources.  This week is no exception. Here’s our pick of top events this week:

  • First up, in case you’re looking for a new pair of hot pants, Wednesday’s Dumb Clothing trunk show (6-9 p.m.) has you covered. The local designer is featuring new styles such as their signature Dumb fluffy dresses, jumpsuits, shrugs and much more.
  • This Thursday through Saturday (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.), A Miner Miracle is putting on a not-so-minor sample sale with over four thousand designer items that you can grab at 60-80 percent off retail. Not only do you get to score on some major deals, but also proceeds from the sales benefit the Bay Area non-profit A Miner Miracle.
  • The American Craft Council Show returns Friday through the weekend to present more than 250 artists with highlights such as handmade pieces under $100, green-friendly crafts and a children’s craft workshop, among other handmade crafts. Get your tickets online for $12, $18 for a two day pass. Children under 12 are free.
  • Top off your weekend this Sunday at Prepare for the Playa (12-7 p.m.), where you can get “everything you need for the burn” like faux fur, El Wire, and Dust masks while enjoying funky fashions shows and much more.  Free to attend.

You can find details on all of these events and more on the SF Indie Fashion Calendar.
