The SF Indie Fashion Calendar is always full of events to keep San Francisco fashion lovers busy with trunk sales, beauty events, fashion shows and places to shop from independent sources. This week is no exception. Here’s our pick of top events this week:
- First up, Chic Fashion Week is a local fashion lover’s smorgasbord, as there will be events every day all over the city. We suggest heading to the Mission for the free Tuesday event, the Wonderland Trunk Show (7-11 p.m), where you can find new vendors and designers chosen by those at Chic Fashion Week.
- For all local designers and small businesses curious about media outreach and public relations, our editor Lorraine Sanders and Rena Ramirez, who does PR for many local companies, have teamed up to present Market U (6:30-8:30 p.m.), where they’ll teach a crash-course in media outreach, PR skills and marketing strategies. Learn it all by getting your ticket here.
- This Friday, Zivity presents Striptease Fashion Show and Charity Auction with 7 local designers such as Sugarpuss, Chrystie Capelli and Steam Trunk. Plus gift bags, champagne and appetizers.
- Chic Fashion Week continues through the weekend and goes out with a bang with not one, but two fashion shows this Saturday and Sunday. Saturday’s show is Established Designer’s Night, featuring 12 of the best and established local designers, while Sunday’s show highlights fresh up and coming designers during Student and Emerging Artist Night.
