As it goes in this city of ours, women get more love when it comes to easily-accessible apparel and accessories from local and independent sources. But this weekend, the guys are getting their due with Meet Your Maker, a three-day event from Durable Goods Concern designed to introduce shoppers to the folks behind a host of dude-friendly products ranging from furniture to cycling gear, leather goods to custom tailored shirts.
Among the purveyors who’ll be on the scene are local companies such as Taylor Stitch, Tellason, Xetum, AB Fits and Ohio, as well as farther-afield folks like Outlier, Esquivel, Beckel Canvas and Pierrepont Hicks.
