Spring collections from far-out independent label Feral Childe and Circadian Studios will be on view this Saturday at Backspace, a boutique we love for its carefully-chosen assortment of indie labels from near and afar.
It’s the only chance Bay Area folks will have to peruse the whole of Feral Childe’s latest collection, named Yosemite in honor of the first camping trip designer Alice Wu ventured on after moving to the Bay Area from NYC. Wu designs the line with Brooklyn-based Moriah Carlson. Together, they produce eye-catching clothing using eco-friendly materials, hand-drawn prints and unexpected color combinations.
Circadian Studios, designed by Deanna Abney (we dig her, as you can tell by this post), joins in the fun with new handmade jewelry and hair accessories.
Note that drinks flow and informal modeling begins at 4 p.m.
