We’re serious vintage fans here at SF Indie Fashion. We even admit to having quite a number of vintage finds we can’t even wear (did women have smaller ta tas back then or is it just me??), but can’t get rid of because they are just too friggin’ unique and fabulous.
So it should come as no surprise that we’re amped about a private trunk show featuring a slew of reconstructed dresses from Daisy’s Vintage for just $20. Diz-amn. It’s the first trunk show from designer Nancy S., who hunts down vintage finds and then tweaks them with modern twists, sashes and tailoring. The event goes down this Thursday night in the Mission at the home of Kim C., a.k.a. the gal-about-town behind Fashion Slave shopping tours.
If you want to go, scare up some wine or edibles to share, hit the ATM for some crisp bills (it’s cash only) and check out the SF Indie Fashion calendar for the address.
