While watching the 7th Annual CCSF Fashion Show on Wednesday night, I was reminded of a few things:
1. There’s nothing like a runway show. They make me happy. Where else can you stare to your heart’s content without being rude and entertain your own Simon Cowell-esque inner critic while chair dancing to infectious tracks from M.I.A. and Kanye? ‘Nuff said.
2. Good things do happen to good people. Case in point: CCSF student and designer Carlos Sandoval, who was awarded a scholarship to the Academy of Art based on his work at City College and in the local fashion community.
3. Models who pose on the runway are cool. They give people like me time to take pictures.
Speaking of pictures, wanna see some? Here are a few I snapped during the night. If you’d like to check out images from the pro photogs who were there that night, follow this link (warning, it’s a huge zip file, so it will take a while to download).

A few of the student designers walking at the end with models (I couldn’t catch all the names, so I am leaving them out):
