Are You An Indie Tastemaker?

Local designer and author Letitia N. wrote in this week and asked me to post the following for anyone who’s interested in appearing in her upcoming book about Bay Area independent fashion. Sounds like a cool project. If you’re interested in being one of the 20 featured peeps, get in touch with her asap:

The Bay Area Guide To Independent Fashion, an upcoming book, currently seeks 20 local tastemakers from the independent fashion community to enter a free listing in our directory.  You can be a designer, boutique owner, organization, stylist, or any other tastemaker. To participate or if you have any questions,  please email bayareafashion@yahoo.com.

  • My photographs start out as close-ups of weathered and rusty hulls of ships at sea. Then I work the pictures and seem to capture the consciousness of stories of oceans and faraway ports. These picture stories become my art, and my art becomes silk, the silk then becomes fashion, and it’s all quite unusual to behold. Take a look at my website and see if you would like to include this in your blogs. I’d be honored.
