Over the weekend, I was going through this massive box I keep of all the business cards, catalogs and brochures I pick up at local indie fashion events, and I was reminded of my love for De Novo – a cool local company that makes some pretty sweet coats and jackets. I first saw them at a Capsule event over a year ago. Several of the wool coats actually made me yearn for East Coast weather (don’t worry, I got over that pretty quickly). But not so with the coats themselves. The Bolero Stole Jacket pictured here is one style that could match our Bay Area temperatures right on through the winter. Made of faux Persian lamb, this super-soft wrap has a large shawl collar brimming with vintage appeal. Love it. Cost: $286.
You can catch De Novo in person later this month at the Appel & Frank event on Sept. 27th.
