Doesn’t this cozy knitting studio look like just the place to kick back with a ball of yarn and some tea? Knit-one-one offers knitting classes and knitting-related events in Emeryville, Calif., right over the bridgey-bridge. And while those of us in the city might not realize it’s actually warm somewhere (although today was pretty balmy, I must say), the studio has created a schedule of summer classes that keep the season at hand in mind. For example, there are classes on making summer totes, wrist cuffs and lightweight scarves. There’s also a workshop to help slackers finish projects that just won’t finish themselves (like all those warm fuzzy things you started knitting last December and never completed).
