Yo folks, Pandora’s Trunk is back. This Saturday, the show opens up with fashion, art, live music and – woowee – free drinks. The vibe is more Mission than Marina, more Burning Man than Billion Dollar Babes. And if neither of those references make sense to you, you’ll just have to go see fo’ yourself. The focus is on art, accessories and fashion created from reclaimed and recycled materials.
When: Saturday Feb. 3rd, 1-7pm
Where: 916 Natoma St in SoMa (between Mission & Howard, 10th & 11th)
New and cool this time around is the DIY Clothing Modification Station. Bring an ill-fitting old t-shirt or get crazy with one of the free or at-cost shirts, pants, patches and scraps that will be on hand. There will be scissors, pins, a sewing machine and – get this – people to help you perform reconstructive surgery on your duds.
The show owes its existence and cool vibe to Rachel Hospodar of Medium Reality.
